Sun Village is situated between the villages Malia and Sissi, 40 km from Heraklion and 20km from Agios Nikolaos, near all worth visiting sightseeing. The landscape is well balanced between sea and mountains. The sea is warm and calm and there all small, clean and idyllic beaches in the surrounding area. The serene lovely fishermen's village of Sissy is just a few minute walking distance, where there are quite many entertainment alternatives, restaurants, traditional Greek taverns, cafeterias, bars etc. The cosmopolitan village of Malia with the beautiful beaches and so well known famous "night life" is a paradise for everybody.

There are 102 units in bungalow style with garden or sea side view: Double rooms, Family rooms, Maisonettes and Suites. The Sun Resort offers a main restaurant over-viewing the Meditterranean, an a la carte Taverna-Ouzeri, a main bar and pool-snack bar.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
All AI program consists of Buffet style breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:00-14:00) and dinner (19:30-22:00), all in buffet style, served at the main restaurant. Afternoon snaks such as pizza or sandwiches as well as ice cream for children are available between 16:00 & 18:00. Various AI drinks life soft drinks, juices, filter coffee, ouzo, raki, local beer ,wine and local spirits such as Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Rum are served from 11:00-23:00 (last order 22:45) at the main bar and from 11:00-18:00 at the pool bar.
Sports&Leisure
There are many intersting picturesque places for biking and nature lovers (mountain bikes available upon request with extra charge). Scuba diving and various water sports are available at some beaches (with charge) within the area. Other facilities include: swimming pool with sea water, desk chairs and umbrellas by the pool (free of charge), children's playground, tennis, basketball and voleyball courts, game rooms and biliard table (extra charge), beauty and relax centre (extra charge).

Our Opinion
Located in a quiet area between Malia and Sissy, 20 minutes drive from Hersonissos and 5-10 minutes drive from Malia. The accomodation is bungalow style with ground floor and easy access to the sport facilities and the first floor over viewing the complex. It is also a great property for those wanting to go out into the lively resorts of Malia and Hersonissos, which are only a taxi ride away.
